Rocket Spanish

February 19th, 2008 admin Posted in Spanish |

Were you looking for a Spanish course in the Internet? Well, we’d like to recommend you Rocket Spanish as your Spanish course.

Why’d you need a course when you have Language Blog or any other language learning website, you ask? Well, you don’t really need one! So, why are we writing this post then? The answer to this question is time, reliability and organization. Paying for learning through the Internet is ridiculous as almost everything is free, so one of the reasons for paying for learning is if the product is going to save you time (and if you actually need to save time). The second reason would be the reliability; how accurate is the free information in forums, chats, etc.? And the third reason is organization; I can assure you everyone learns at least twice faster if all the information is organized.

If you have plenty of time, and you don’t care about finding all the information for yourself and correcting the misinformation you learned, then stick with our forums, our chats, our newsletters, and online dictionaries. And if you choose to get a Spanish course so you learn faster and in a more secure way, then we highly recommend you to get Rocket Spanish (and we also recommend you to stick with our website, too!).

  1. Yes, Rocket Spanish is a great course. Immersion is the real key to learning, not by reading a book :)
    Ciao,

  2. OK, are there _any_ objective reviews of Rocket Spanish out there? Everything (and I mean everything) I’ve found in Google, this post included, are all essentially paid promotional links to the product that really don’t say anything about it.

  3. Hello Robbie!

I felt a bit uncomfortable with your post… Unfortunately, our aim with the post talking about Rocket Spanish wasn’t to give a review of it, and we aren’t planning on giving it a review. Let me explain.

Being honest (and it’s pretty obvious), we posted about Rocket Spanish to gain commissions for their sales made through this website. We chose Rocket Spanish for being so popular and due to its guarantee. As you say, there isn’t any objective reason. We’re going to keep promoting Rocket courses to gain some money (currently, we’ve made 0 dollars :)), but this is just temporary. What I’m trying to do is to gain back the money I spent with the hosting, the domains, and to earn something for publicity for the website (and if things go well… maybe a laptop, I need it to program at college :()

Now, as I said, we aren’t planning on giving Rocket Spanish a review, as we’re going to make our own language courses, completely free!

“I don’t believe you! You’re the same, just as everyone else!”, you may be thinking. Well, fortunately, we REALLY are going to release free language courses (and quality ones). I was the one who gave the idea of making this website, and I believe that information should be free to anyone (I’m studying computer engineering, and I believe the same for software. Viva Linux and Open Source software!).

When we evolve, I was thinking on earning money through different ways, like Google ads, copywriting services, small fee subscriptions to special services, etc. But definitely we’re not going to promote language courses (or any other informational product; information and the possibility of learning MUST be free to anyone).

I apologize for the Rocket ads, but I humbly invite you to keep an eye for updates. I’m currently working on the Spanish course, and it’s going to be the first course to be released. I’m Mexican and I speak a terrific Spanish (unlike my English), so don’t worry.

If you have any questions about Spanish or about our website, feel comfortable to send me an e-mail to amaury (at) languageblog.net. You can try posting in our “in-development” forum, too.
